This history of Temecula Valley goes back thousands of years starting with the presence of the native people known as Luiseño. The granting of the Little Temecula Rancho in 1845 to Pablo Apis established the area as an important destination. It was a main east to west route as part of the Southern Emigrant Trail and eventually the Butterfield Overland Mail Stage. The founding of the Town of Temecula in 1882 as a train stop cemented the growth of the area. With reliable transportation to ship commerce, Vail Ranch soon occupied the valley from 1904 - 1964.
I have spent the past decade researching and conducting investigations in the unusual history of the area. Through the use of historical newspaper accounts, personal interviews, and my own experiences, I have uncovered information that is truly fascinating and which I share with you on each tour.
Does Temecula have ghosts?
Are all haunted locations a result of death?
What is with all this "paranormal stuff" anyway?
Find out the answers to these questions and more!
"We took the history and ghost walk tour not knowing what to expect. Dale's knowledge of the local history was extensive. More importantly what he shares regarding the local spiritual happenings really had us scratching our heads. If you are into ghosts, then this tour is for you."
